The Spring Mills Honors Choir was an auditioned choir for 4th and 5th grade students. The students met for an additional 30 minutes each week in the music room to work on more challenging songs and prepare extra concerts. This was a fun group of dedicated students, who all loved to sing! Due to scheduling conflicts and teaching at two schools, I don't have the opportunity to have an Honors Choir any more. I will continue to offer an after-school choir: Spring Mills Voices!

The students of the Honors Choir showed up bright and early on June 3rd to thank the volunteers for all their help during the year. Their performance of "T-H-A-N-K Y-O-U!" and "We appreciate you!" was great and well received.

December 2012. The Spring Mills Honors Choir was invited to join the Choirs of Milford High School in their winter concert at Milford High School. Our choir performed three songs by themselves and joined the High School Choirs in the final song "Believe". It was truly a special evening and it was great for the students to see, where their choir singing can lead to. 
Our Honors Choir even got to go to the High School to record a song for their CD.

May 2011. The Spring Mills Honors Choir was invited together with another children's choir from Ypsilanti to join the Dearborn Community Choir for a concert. Our choir sang two songs by themselves, joined the choir from Ypsilanti in a song, and sang in the grand finale with the adult choir. The students had enjoyed singing on the big stage and had a great time!
